SCHOOL DINNER WILL BE SERVED - AT TOP HOTEL

09:00 - 05 May 2005

Pupils at Kincorth Academy will be rubbing shoulders with oil executives at a charity bash tomorrow night.

They will be gathering with staff at Petrofac, the oil and gas facilities service operator, at the Marcliffe at Pitfodels for a dinner-dance in aid of Katapult Community Theatre.

Reality TV and pantomime star Cameron Stout will be the guest speaker, and the pupils will also be doing turns.

The dinner is the third hosted by the company and school, which formed a partnership in October 1998.

Pupils have been directly involved with the planning are expected to spend the day at the hotel shadowing staff.

Jim Atack, managing director of Petrofac Facilities Management, said: "We take our role in the partnership very seriously. Our partnership is a true celebration of what can be achieved when business and the community work hand in hand."

Katapult Community Theatre is bringing a production of Catherine Cookson's The Fifteen Streets to Aberdeen Arts Centre in September.
