Friday 19th November
Thank you to all at Kincorth Academy who supported this year's Children in Need appeal. The Charities committee set an ambitious target of £1000 this year, and by lunchtime today were well on their way at £750. A full update will appear as information becomes available.

The lunchtime concert was a great success with acts including staff and pupils from the school. A very appreciative crowd raised over £200 during the event.

Monday 1st November
Miss Digges and Mr Tullock returned safely after completing a trip to the City of Gomel in Belarus. The two Kincorth Academy teachers spent a week in Belarus establishing links with a school and are now working on several projects promoting friendship and the exchange of experience and ideas between the two establishments. Details of the trip will be posted in this website.

Friday 8th October
This is the last day of the Autumn term. We hope pupils and staff enjoy a relaxing break and look forward to welcoming everyone back on the 25th October.

Tuesday 5th October
The drama production Roddy Hogg makes a welcome return to Kincorth Academy this week, performing to all S1 pupils, on Thursday 7th October.

Monday 4th October
Thank you to everyone who supported the Jeans for Genes day appeal. A total will be published here in due course.

E-mail Problems
Due to hardware failure we have been unable to receive emails for around one week. If you have sent e-mail to a Kincorth Academy staff member during this time please resend. The e-mail system is now fully working again.

Friday 1st October
It's the return of Jeans for Genes day - help make Kincorth Academy remain as one of Scotland's leading contributors to this worthy cause by paying 50p to wear your Jeans today.

Kincorth Academy's show choir recently performed at the Edinburgh Festival to high critical acclaim. Read more info here...

Wednesday 25th August
Former Kincorth Academy pupil has signed with Highland League football club, Keith. Jamie Lennox, now beginning a bricklaying apprenticeship, said "I'm really enjoying being involved here at Keith and hopefully I'll soon get the chance to show what I can do".

We all wish Jamie every success in his future.

Friday 20th August
Welcome back to all staff and pupils at Kincorth Academy. We extend a special welcome to all new pupils and staff in the school this session.

Visitors to the school this week will notice that a major repainting programme has been taking place throughout the school. This has made a large difference to the look and feel of the buildings. As part of the ongoing improvements at Kincorth Academy Phase 2 of the rewiring programme is about to get underway with the remainder of the main building being upgraded.
