Youth and Philanthropy Initiative

The Scottish launch of the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative was held at Kincorth Academy today (15th Sept) by Sir Ian Wood.

The initiative's mission is to provide secondary school pupils with a reality experience through a strong academic philanthropy programme which gives the skills to assess community needs and make grants to charitable, grassroots organisiations meeting those needs. Our programme will empower young people to authentically participate in the development of their communities, engage them as dedicated problem solvers and volunteers.

The programme will promote a sense of responsibility, respect, and a commitment to building compassionate communities.
